FURNITURE DESIGN | CNC | PLASTER MOLDING | UNDERGRAD THESIS

This project captures everyday activities—brushing teeth, reading, playing tennis, eating sushi—through sculpted arms, each color-coded to reflect the aura of its action. Initially, I planned to cast my own arms in plaster, avoiding a technological approach. However, five weeks in, I broke my left elbow, limiting my ability to perform many tasks. This challenge led me to refine my skills in architectural software like SolidWorks and Rhino, using them to design negative molds of arms for plaster casting. To complete the sculptures, I created a mold of my own hands, seamlessly attaching them to the CNC-routed forms.
